Much More Than a Fringe…

We’ve been waiting for this weekend for a long time. Last year was great, but let’s be honest, it wasn’t big enough.

Now we’re finally back to proper Threshold proportions, here’s a bunch of information for ticket holders, ticket buyers and fence sitters.

We’ll be monitoring social media throughout the festival, so if you get in touch with questions we’ll try and get back to you as soon as we can.

All festival info is below.

Very limited Weekend & Day Tickets are still on sale from Skiddle & Ticket Quarter, if you miss out there will still be some available on the day (At an increased price) but once we’re at capacity, you can’t come and play with us, so make the wise choice and get yours now.

Wristband Collection…

If you’ve bought a ticket online or if you’re picking one up on the day, the box office is the place to be. This is located on Jordan Street off Jamaica Street, behind Baltic Creative (92 Degrees Baltic Roastery)  it will be sign posted at the site, but also, just ask a friendly fellow festival goer or team member. Here you can exchange your e-ticket for a wristband which will get you access to a world of boss!

N:B – You can’t access venues without a wristband and no cash will be taken on venue doors (Some venues have venue only cash systems, but only for set times and you are only confined to these venues, it’s better to get a wristband, basically).

Planet Slop – Virtual Stage

The excellent team at Planet Slop have curated a virtual stage with us: ‘What does that mean?” Well they’ve had some input into our programming across the board to bring you a journey through Threshold that has the Planet Slop seal of approval. If you’d like to take this journey then just click the big letters above to learn more.

They’ll also be hosting one of our excellent panels at 92 Degress – Baltic Roastery on Saturday afternoon.

There is a cash machine located on St James Street at the convenience store and some of our venues will give you cash back, but try to bring what you need.

Getting here…

The Baltic Triangle of Liverpool is located on and around Jamaica Street just outside the City Centre. You can easily walk to the area from Central, Lime Street, James Street and Moorfields Stations as well as Liverpool ONE bus station. If you’re taking a cab to us or when it’s time to go home we recommend Alpha Taxis:   0151 722 8888

Be Safe….

Threshold Festival takes place in a public domain, it is not a closed festival site, so please be vigilant when travelling around the site. Jamaica Street is a busy road with lots of open businesses in the day time, so remember your Green Cross Code.If you are in need of first aid, please make a team member aware, there will be someone nearby with a Threshold Team T-Shirt on. We have qualified first aiders on the team who can help and also you can always notify our friendly venue staff.

Threshold cannot take responsibility for your personal property, so bring only your necessaries and keep them safe.

Anyone found to be intoxicated or in possession of illegal drugs will be removed by security from our venues, we do not tolerate abusive or dangerous behaviour at our event.

Please respect performers and know when it’s ok to be loud and when it’s time to pay attention.

Basically Don’t Be a D*ck.

Have Fun…

We have one of the friendliest festival crowds you can meet at Threshold, so join in, make friends, dance and enjoy a few if you’re so inclined.

All our acts and artists have worked incredibly hard to bring you this festival, so see as much as you can and enjoy every moment.

See You There

In 2016 we hosted the brilliantly talented band Her’s at Constellations in association with Merseyrail Sound Station.

We’re deeply saddened to hear of their tragic passing along with their manager over in the US yesterday.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to their family, friends and fans at this time.

“Why did we have to say goodnight?”
